Ruth serves as Commercial Escrow Officer for Chicago Title's South Central Ohio Local Commercial Service (LCS) operation. Joining the company in 1993, she has carried out various duties and roles over the years including processing new orders; setting up escrow and title files; and reviewing purchase contracts, title exams, commitments, and other closing documents for understanding the nature of the transaction at hand. Ruth has developed a process to triage files to determine various timelines to keep transactions on schedule for the requested services. She has developed relationships with customers for a full understanding of their preferred ways of communicating, follow up requirements and timelines.
Ruth stays up to date on title insurance industry regulations and works as part of a team with our title department, title underwriters, accounting department, other company offices, and our customers to ensure the successful close of various transactions including large multi-site, single site, apartment complex, 1031 exchange and multi state transactions.

Ruth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University, and paralegal certificate from Capital University Law School’s ABA-approved post-baccalaureate Paralegal Program.
