Angela



An industry veteran, Angie began her career as a title examiner while attending law school. She eventually joined a large agency in central Ohio as an attorney and title agent. Angie has experience with multi-site, multi-state commercial deals, and large timberland transactions working with commercial developers, lenders, and government agencies. She also owned and operated her own law practice for approximately 9 years. Joining the South Central Ohio LCS in 2023, Angie's current role is providing commercial title insurance underwriting.

My goal is to bring people together to facilitate successful closings using reasonable, clear communication and a dose of creativity.


Angie is past president of CREW Columbus, past vice president of COLTA, and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. She is a contributing attorney as a writer/editor of Ohio real estate law content for Practical Law, a Thomson Reuters publication. Angie has taught numerous CE courses, including: 

  • Title Insurance and Mineral Rights 101
  • Drafting Rock Solid Contracts for Mineral Interests
  • The Basics of a Title Insurance Commitment
  • Civil Rights Law
 Angie earned a B.A. in English from Loyola University Chicago and earned her J.D. from Ohio Northern University. She is a a registered yoga teacher and has a background in business and career coaching. Angie is a member of the International Coaching Federation and holds an ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential. She lives in Delaware, Ohio with her husband, Gary, and their German Shepherd, Maddy. Angie loves to read and travel.
